Overview

This tour is for people who are passionate about history and want to see the city with a truly local guide. While walking around the Gothic Quarter, we will explore the history of Barcelona: the Roman origins, the medieval battles for power and expansion into the Mediterranean, the formation of Spain and the downfall of the city...

The tour focuses on storytelling, in a way that makes the city come to life, but without making things unnecessarily complicated. It follows a mostly lineal timeline, which helps understand the history of both the city and the region, even without any previous knowledge. But what makes this tour truly special is the fact that small groups are guaranteed, which makes the tour very personal. The guide engages with everyone and adapts the tour to what the audience really wants.
