Unlike typical tasting walks, this tour includes both street-food stops and a relaxed sit-down pasta experience. Guests discover traditional and modern Roman flavors in a small group of no more than 12 people.
Overview
Join me for a relaxed 3-hour food walk through Trastevere, where I’ll introduce you to the Roman flavors I personally love. We’ll begin with a freshly made supplì, followed by regional cheeses, cured meats and olives. Along the way, you’ll also try Roman-style pizza and a savory maritozzo, a modern twist on the traditional sweet bun.
Later, we’ll sit down together to enjoy two classic Roman pasta dishes, such as carbonara or cacio e pepe, with a glass of Italian wine. We’ll finish with something sweet, usually tiramisu or artisanal gelato.
