We will arrive in Ambato, known as the “City of Flowers and Fruits,” where we will begin the experience with a delicious breakfast at a local café. During this first encounter with the city, you can enjoy traditional flavors while surrounded by its welcoming atmosphere and Andean essence, preparing for a day full of culture, landscapes, and discoveries.

We will tour the heart of Ambato on a city tour that will allow us to discover its most representative parks, historic churches, and lively squares. Along the walk you will learn about the city’s history, its resilience after the earthquake, and its cultural evolution, while connecting with the authentic essence of one of the most important cities in the Ecuadorian Highlands.

We will take a break to enjoy a typical lunch in a place that reflects the gastronomic essence of the region. Here you can taste traditional dishes prepared with local ingredients, in a welcoming atmosphere that connects Andean cuisine with Ambato’s culture. We will enter La Liria Botanical Garden, a natural space full of history, native vegetation, and ornamental species that reflect the region’s ecological richness. During the visit you can walk along peaceful trails, observe the diversity of plants, and connect with nature in an ideal setting for contemplation, photography, and rest.

We will head to Quisapincha, a renowned Andean village famous for its leather-making tradition. Here you will have time to visit its workshops and local shops, where high-quality products such as jackets, bags, and handmade accessories are produced. An ideal stop to learn about the artisans’ work and take home an authentic souvenir of Ambato’s culture.

After a day full of culture, landscapes, and traditions in Ambato and its surroundings, we will begin the return trip to Quito.
