Our first stop welcomes us with the majestic Basílica del Voto Nacional, an icon of the Historic Center and known as the “Church of the End of the World.” Here, the guide will introduce you to its fascinating stories while, from its esplanade, we admire its unique gargoyles and access to the presidential pantheon, connecting architecture, mystery, and Quito tradition.
Art and culture shops: Living tradition in artisan hands
At this stop, we will visit specialized shops where Ecuadorian art and identity come to life. Here you will be able to appreciate the talent of Indigenous artisans who transform materials such as alpaca wool, wood, clay, and precious metals into unique pieces.
