On our route to Imbabura, we will make a stop in Cayambe, a land of Andean culinary tradition. We will visit a local biscuit factory, where you can enjoy these emblematic freshly baked treats, accompanied by leaf cheese and dulce de leche. An authentic experience that connects flavor, culture, and tradition in a typical Ecuadorian Andes breakfast.

On the way to Otavalo, we will make a panoramic stop at Lake San Pablo, one of the most emblematic landscapes in Imbabura. Here you will have time to admire the serenity of the lake and capture unique photos with the majestic Taita Imbabura volcano as a backdrop. A perfect moment to connect with the energy of the Andean landscape and its natural beauty.

Upon arriving in Otavalo, we will visit the emblematic Plaza de Ponchos, one of the most renowned Indigenous markets in South America. You will have time to walk through its colorful stalls, admire handmade textiles, and connect with local artisans who keep their traditions alive. Our next stop takes us to the impressive Cuicocha Lagoon, a volcanic crater full of history and Andean energy. Here you will enjoy a scenic tour over its turquoise waters while discovering the legends that surround this sacred place. A unique natural setting within the Cotacachi-Cayapas Reserve, ideal for connecting with the magic of Ecuadorian landscapes.

After the visit to Cuicocha, we will take a break to enjoy a typical lunch in the area, surrounded by Andean landscapes. Later, we will continue to Cotacachi, known for its leathercraft tradition. You will have free time to stroll through its shops and discover handmade products, reflecting the identity and talent of its local artisans.
