Day 1: Arrival in Quito and exclusive welcome
Your experience begins in Quito with a personalized reception at the airport or terminal. From there, you will transfer to a high-category hotel in the city, where you will check in and receive an introduction to the trip. This first night is designed for rest and preparation for a journey that connects altitude, nature, and luxury in a single itinerary.
Day 2: Cultural Ambato and Salinas de Guaranda
We begin the journey toward the heart of the Central Sierra, with a visit to Ambato, a city surrounded by history, tradition, and Andean landscapes. After a cultural tour and a local lunch, we will continue to Salinas de Guaranda, a destination known for its community-based model and high-quality artisanal production. The night is enjoyed in a cozy accommodation in an authentic rural setting.
Day 3: Quero páramos and Andean life
We head into the high-altitude landscapes of the Quero canton, where rural life and páramo ecosystems come together in an immersive experience. Hikes, fresh air, and contact with nature reveal the Andean essence of Ecuador. We will also visit its main town center and enjoy a local artisanal-production experience, ending the day in a traditional hacienda with historic charm.
Day 4: Baños de Agua Santa and volcanic adventure
The day begins en route to Baños de Agua Santa, gateway to the Amazon and a premier adventure destination. We will visit the Basilica, the Tree House, and the emblematic Pailón del Diablo waterfall. Days 5 - 6: Deep exploration of the jungle
We descend from the Andes toward the Amazon rainforest, crossing changing landscapes until reaching the Mera area. From there, a canoe navigation takes us into the heart of the jungle. Days 8 - 9: Historic Quito - Farewell and transfer
Back in the capital, we explore Quito’s Historic Center, a cultural heritage site of great value. Among churches, squares, and colonial architecture, you will discover the living history of the city. The day includes gastronomic experiences and tasting of high-quality Ecuadorian chocolate, ending with dinner at a viewpoint with panoramic views.
