Three Waterfalls Route: Hiking & Nature Adventure

We begin at Plaza Grande at 09:00 a.m., where your guide will welcome you and provide the tour instructions. From this point we will start an authentic journey using local public transport: Ecovía to Playón de la Marín, then a connection to Cashapamba and finally to the Loreto community. This trip is part of the experience, allowing you to experience the daily life of mobility in Quito before starting the hike in the middle of nature.

From the Loreto community we will begin a hike of approximately 40 minutes through Andean landscapes, surrounded by nature and rural life. During the route you will be able to appreciate the essence of the Ecuadorian countryside as we approach the Las Tres Cascadas complex. Upon arrival, your guide will share information about the natural environment and will give you a box lunch to enjoy in the middle of this unique setting.

We will begin the descent through a hidden canyon, crossing a montane forest for approximately 30 minutes until we reach the Las Tres Cascadas complex. Along the way you will discover three unique waterfalls, each with its own charm, surrounded by lush vegetation. Upon arrival, you will have free time to relax, swim in its crystal-clear waters, and enjoy a natural setting perfect for disconnecting and connecting with the energy of the forest.

After enjoying Las Tres Cascadas, we will begin the ascent back along the same trail, once again crossing the montane forest and Andean landscapes that accompanied the hike. Upon reaching the starting point, we will take the return transport to the Loreto community. A peaceful ending that allows you to say goodbye to nature with one last look at this unique, life-filled environment.

We arrive at the Loreto community, where our hike through forests and waterfalls comes to an end. From here we will take public transport back to the city of Quito. This journey marks the close of an experience of nature and adventure, saying goodbye to the Andean landscapes while we return to the city with unique memories of the route experienced in the heart of Ecuador.
