Overview

From its beginnings, the Italian Peninsula has always been a place where cultures mix, open to trade and with a special taste for art. Roman civilization is an example of this.

We begin at the Romulus and Remus Viewpoint (in the Circus Maximus) to remember the mythical founding of Rome through its legends and history, while we build the city just as the Romans once did, ending at the emblematic monument and star of the Roman Empire: the Colosseum.

This is the meeting point where the introduction will take place and the mythical beginnings of the Founding of Rome will be explained

We will talk about the Romans' first leisure space: the Circus and the Stadium. We will also learn how both spaces worked.

We will learn about and see where the first city of the Romans was founded and discover how Roman urban development evolved.

I recommend bringing comfortable shoes and a reusable water bottle, especially during the warmer months.

The route includes some stairs, cobbled streets, and uneven surfaces. Several stairs can be avoided, but I recommend contacting me before booking to check whether the route suits your needs.
Is the tour free?
Yes. For individual bookings or groups of up to 7 people, no advance payment is required; at the end, each participant may leave a voluntary tip. For a single group booking of more than 7 people, a fixed price of €15 per person applies, shown before confirming the booking.
